Belgian Style Wheat ale fermented with a mixed culture and aged in sour wine barrels. After about 2 years of aging in barrels we then added our classic berry combo of strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry. Short's FestivALE has aromas of fresh tart berries and slight oak. The flavors mimic the aroma with a blast of mixed tart berries accompanied by a medium body and dry finish.

Had this one originally when it was launched in bombers and somehow didn't review. Just had on tap at Short's pull barn, garnet colored liquid with an off white cap of foam. Taste is a bit more sour than I remember, tonsil kicking and rich in fruit, with a bit of wheat coming through.
