November 2023 Limited Release - 6 pack
12 oz. can dated 111523 (11/15/23) - 7.5% ABV / 5 IBU / 11 TA
Brewed and canned in Elk Rapids, MI
Poured into a Bell's branded tulip snifter glass
Look - Pours a dense and fizzy off-white head that leaves lacing. Cloudy, light to dark amber appearance.
Smell - The scent out of the can was reminiscent of sourdough bread. Pomegranate is prevalent, not picking up much peach.
Taste - A nice tartness hits you upfront, and the fruits linger in the aftertaste, with pomegranate being more dominant.
Feel - Medium bodied with a sharp and crisp mouthfeel and finishes dry.
Overall - Being named Peachy Yum Yum, one would expect more peach flavor, but this tastes great nonetheless. The sourness is very pleasant and isn't overwhelming.

For a “Peachy” labeled sour, there was little peach to be tasted.
The appearance was okay, but looked like day old iced tea, kind of a tinge to the normal color.
The aroma was quite good, inviting even. Funky and fun, I got my hopes up for a tasty beer.
And it is tasty, just not my cup of (day old) tea. Almost all sour, no discernible pomegranate or peach, but if you want sour, this gives it in spades.
The feel was appropriate for the style, not too thick or thin, quite quaffable. Which at 7.5% ABV, it could get me into trouble quickly.
Think I enjoyed this one, but probably not going to stock up.

L: Light amber with some haze. Very little head and dissipates quickly
S: Definitely pick up the peach. Also get some strawberry and citrus.
T: Punches you with the sour quickly. Quite tangy. Peach is subtle and don't notice it until the finish at which time the sourness so not so powerful. Leaves pleasant aftertaste of a ripe peach and lemon.
M:Pretty light which goes along with style
O:Very sour initially. I knew this would be sour but wow. It doesn't stay long though, and the more subtle flavors come out. Some sours stay with you in the aftertaste. This doesn't.
