Tiramisu Blond is an Experimental Blonde Ale brewed with milk sugar, cocoa nibs, and coffee. A total babe, this ale is hazy and light brown with a delicate perfume of coffee and chocolate. Tastes like roasted coffee and velvety chocolate and feels creamy and soft on your tongue before finishing smooth and sweet. Skip dessert for this beaut, and give your Italian granny a run for her money.

June 2021 Specialty Release - 6 pack
12 oz. bottle dated 06/25/21 - 4.1% ABV / 23 IBU
Brewed and bottled in Elk Rapids, MI
Poured into Bell's branded pub pint glass
Look - Two fingers of off-white head, with nice lacing. See-through amber color, with lots of carbonation.
Smell - Picking up mostly cocoa nibs on the nose. Slight coffee smell.
Taste - Mostly milk sugary flavor, some cocoa, can't really detect any coffee. Some bitter chocolate taste.
Feel - Crisp and light body. Goes down easily.
Overall - Fun to try, but too sweet, and not enough coffee flavor for my taste.

Pours a dark caramel with 2 fingers of tan head that reduces to a ring that stick around for the whole of the glass. Smell is coffee and chocolate. Taste follows suit with the coffee taking center stage. Almost tastes like raw coffee beans before being brewed with chocolate and some vanilla undertones. Carbonation leaves a very sharp feel that is crisp and refreshing. I liked it.

With the name I was expecting a "Blonde" ale but the pours a murky brown ale - not particularly inviting but the light beige head invites a sniff, which is where this game changes.
The aroma is (and probably influenced by the name) actually reminiscent of tiramisu - cocoa powder, cream, coffee crystals, quite nice.
The taste rather follows the nose, not overtly sweet as implied but the rounding of the flavors is strikingly pleasant - getting the chocolate and coffee and cream in a beer is just something to be experienced.
The feel was also quite nice, very smooth but somehow not smooth enough for the flavor; small quip really, but my thought on it. Still quite quaffable.
Definitely think I need to pick up a few more of these.
