We gave Grinch Joe Short this double-Sabro hopped hazy IPA and his heart grew three sizes, so now we’re spreading the love by adding Snow Globe IPA to the 2021 Super Hoppy Holidays Variety Pack. Hop on a snowmobile sleigh and take a ride towards epic amounts of coconut, tangerine, apricot notes blended with soft touches of cedar, mint and cream. This IPA will make you say “whoa whoa whoa”…. You know, instead of “ho ho ho.”

Pours a gold color with a foamy white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of grapefuit and pineapple. Taste is orange and grapefuit. Smooth and creamy. Easy drinking; a bit tangy and not too bitter.

Short's Super Hoppy Holidays 2021 Edition - 18 pack
12 oz. can dated 10/20/21 - 8.1% ABV / 87 IBU
Brewed and canned in Elk Rapids, MI
Poured into a Bell's branded nonic pint glass
Look - Pours a thick white head that settles fairly quickly and leaves lacing. Hazy dark orange appearance.
Smell - The smell is very tropical. Coconut, pineapple, and tangerine stand out the most. I also smelled a lot of booze when I opened the can and poured.
Taste - The taste follows the nose with lots of citrus and tropical fruit thanks to the Sabro hops. Once again coconut and tangerine probably standing out the most. Also picking up some mint and cream as it warms. Almost no bitterness or alcohol taste.
Feel - Medium bodied with a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Crisp and somewhat drying.
Overall - The Sabro hops are able to come through well in this brew with huge tropical and citrus flavors. The lack of alcohol taste and smooth drinkability make this dangerously drinkable considering the relatively high ABV.
