June 2023 Passion Project Release - 12 pack
12 oz. can dated 060523 (6/5/23) - 5.2% ABV / 15 IBU
Brewed and canned in Elk Rapids, MI
Poured into a Bell's branded nonic pint glass
Look - Pours a thin and fizzy white head that evaporates instantly. Slightly cloudy, pale yellow appearance with tons of streaming bubbles.
Smell - The scent is mostly faint lime with herbal/grassy hops and lager yeast in the background.
Taste - The lime is much stronger in the taste and borders on overpowering. The lime taste has an almost perfume-like quality to it. Some of the herbal/grassy hop flavors still seem to come through in the aftertaste and there's zero bitterness. As the beer warms, the lime mixed with the malt creates a graham cracker and key lime pie flavor.
Feel - Thin-medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel and finishes with almost no dryness.
Overall - The lime taste is very strong, and it's easy drinking just like the base beer.
