12oz can as part of the mixed IPA pack. Packaged 10-21-25.
9.0% ABV, 56 IBU. No ingredients per the website.
Pours out to a lightly hazy orange, forming a tall white soapy head with good retention and very nice lacing. Carbonation is moderate, ~2.5 carbs or so. Nose is of peach nectar, pineapple dum dums and mango. Very nice nose persists despite the age. Mouthfeel is medium dense bodied, lightly syrupy, but finishing crisp and with a slight vegetal astringency and tartness. No off aromas or flavors. No sulfur or diacetyl that I can pick up from the lager yeast. Thankfully, I don't get that terrible terpene "natural flavor" that some breweries are using (Sierra Nevada, New Belgium). The taste is of peach, pineapple and mango with a well balanced maltiness and bitterness. I often find Short's beers too bitter for me, but this one is not. This is a nice DIPA that isn't too boozy, although it is a bit syrupy. I find DIPAs to be too syrupy and prefer regular IPA's or NEIPAs. This is on the lower end of that spectrum. I suspect they didn't brew this with sugar. If they didn't, I think the substitution would help dry out the body. A little peppery alcohol at the end and finishing with some tartness and plant based astringency.

Cloudy gold, thick white head, great retention, thick rings of lace
Grapefruit zest, mango, and passionfruit aromas
Tastes like it smells, a bit of woody coconut, light malt
Medium bodied, appropriately carbonated, alcohol is well hidden
Pretty good.

Appearance - The was golden in color with a fluffy white head.
Smell - The nose had notes of citrus with a bready backbone.
Taste - As described, the hop profile was pungent. The bitterness was propped up by a bready backbone. The hops linger with a yeast presence that sticks to the roof of the mouth.
Mouthfeel - Bubbly carbonation could not thin the bready backbone.
Overall - I need to have more of this style.

This is also pretty good. It's super smooth and still not outrageously hoppy so it retains some IPL roots. I'm skeptical on the abv again because nothing is on the can but this is super drinkable
