June 2023 Passion Project Release - 6 pack
12 oz. can dated 062923 (6/29/23) - 5.8% ABV / 12 IBU / 6.2 TA
Brewed and canned in Elk Rapids, MI
Poured into a Bell's branded nonic pint glass
Look - Pours a dense and fizzy off-white head that disappears instantly. Cloudy, pale golden appearance with a good amount of streaming bubbles.
Smell - The scent is mostly peach and not much else. Not picking up any of the watermelon.
Taste - Peach is dominate in the taste as well, but you get a bit of the watermelon in the aftertaste. No bitterness or alcohol taste and the tartness is very minimal. Also, not picking up any salt, which Gose's are traditionally supposed to have.
Feel - Medium bodied with a slightly crisp and wet mouthfeel and finishes with no dryness.
Overall - This is basically a strong peach-flavored beverage, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it seems rather one-dimensional.
