Can poured into a pint glass, opaque with a tall tan head, not much lacing. Bread and chocolate nose. Malt forward taste, chocolate, somewhat sweet, faint hops. Lighter mouthfeel than a simultaneous Edmund Fitzgerald Porter. A good Porter for a dark and stormy night; much like Shorts' Publican Porter for what I recall.

It achieved a "wow, this is really good" status on the first can. I expected it would be pretty good, but it exceeded my expectations, Look, smell, taste, and feel are all on point and true to style. Great job Short's
