It's time for a short Short's review, this was pretty nice, I wasn't expecting it to be tart, but it was, Short's doesn't make very many tart beers and this was something that was nice and unique from them. I liked it and it would be nice to see it bottled during the summer.

A Vienna lager brewed with black currants, giving the traditional amber color a purple hue. Light grain and yeast aromas disguise the initial sweet and tart shock provided by the use of specialty malts and dark fruit. A slight bitterness in the finish is accompanied by some herbal and tea flavors with lingering fruity accents.
