330 ml bottle, labelled best before July 2017, so still relatively fresh. This pale ale pours a clear golden shade of amber with thick white froth, which after receding, leaves a nice trail of dense lacing on the glass. The aromas which bubble up are mainly floral hops of pine and resin, with a int of the malts. Taste-wise, again it is led by the piney and resinous hoppy flavours over a decent malt backbone. The taste starts off sweetish, but ends with some light bitterness. Carbonation is average and mouthfeel is decent, although it tails off being quite thin in the finish. Solid APA!

There are some decent citrus notes in this pale ale with a bit of bitter grapefruit taking the foreground, but otherwise it is relatively balanced and easy to drink. Recommended for a try but not as a standard favorite.

330ml bottle poured into a little hotel glass. Bottle has 2015.9.10 on the label, which I assume is a best by date.
Pours slightly hazy amber with a slight coppery tint, small head, medium carbonation. Smell is pretty nice, but fairly mild. Clearly citrus, a little pine, not much else.
Taste is a little orangey with a little grapefruit rind bitterness. Have to remember it's not an IPA -- I want more bitterness, but for a pale ale this is about right.
Mouthfeel is dry. Overall, pretty nice beer.
