Fine dense head on as golden yellow transparent color. The smell is very grainy and citric, with a strong impression of freshness. In the taste, the first impression is a round fruity flavor, with peaches mostly. It gets quickly overwhelmed by the the dry grain and the chewy and dry hoppiness. It's interesting how the mouthfeel evolves as you drink the brew, from a round start to such a dry finish. A decent pilsener, but nothing too exciting in my opinion.

Very genki in the glass, the slightest bit cloudy, shimmering gold color. Funky, organically spewing irregular foam head. Smell's of mochi, a truly addicting subtle rice flour nose, dusty like the first whiff of flour of a ball of dough.
Floury, sourdough bread dough taste. Light yet complex. Not sweet, with sour touches of grapefruit. Nice final balancing hops, which after quickly overtaken once again by the rice flour chewiness.
Mouthfeel's a mouthful. Chewy. Like a granola bar.
Excellent brew, and perhaps my favorite Japanese pilsener. Well worth seeking out.
