Beautiful hazy amber copper color body. The smell is of very sweet, almost artificial bananas. Also a very yeasty sour cream aroma. The sour cream aspect is fairly noticeable in the taste too, together with the yeast. The refreshing citrus and the fruity sweetness are almost hidden behind the sour cream, and the hops only add a subtle thicker herbal note on the end. The mouthfeel is complex enough, without taking away from the beer's drinkability.
Quite a good beer.

Active and bubbly in the glass, head gone in a flash. Dark, cloudy, heavy bronze color.
Smell is oily bananas, not too sweet. Sweet organic dusty grains. Reminds of sweet, fried banana dessert, with whipped cream. Plum and strawberry notes also come through. And I could've sworn there was something akin to tomato in there as well.
High carbonation yet light bubbles. Creamy, thick mouthfeel that changes to oily banana peel hop after-effects.
Fabulously unique beer from Takikawa, Hokkaido, Japan!
6/19/04: Had this beer again on-tap at Sky Beer in Takikawa and couldn't stop drinking it. Had to bump up the drinkability to a 5.
