Tried this on-tap at the brewpub today..
- Nice reddish clear appearance blended in a darker orange/yellow ale... mild white head quick to dissipate into a very mild stripe of lace.
- Nice tart smell, some cherry, bitter hop, and earthy notes.. smells light and refreshing.
- A nice light sparkling cherry brew.. very light on the caramel notes, with a bit of grain, bread, and cherry and a nice tartness.. very light, and very refreshing.
- The tartness makes the mouth water, and I want to chug the stuff like its a cherry flavored Hansen beverage... but yet its a slightly grainy brew.
- Overall very drinkable, and just the right balances and carbonation. Really fits the style for what it is worth.... many may call it a chick brew... but I found myself with no bias of the sort. A very nice offering.
