Bottled in May, so two months old. Poured from the 12 oz. bottle into a stemmed tulip.
a: Hazy orange with an inch thick white head which receded to patchy surface foam and dense lacing.
s: Mild pine and citrus.
t: Pine and a bit of citrus over biscuit malt followed by a moderate hop bite.
m: Medium, good body and excellent carbonation tingle.
o: A good solid quality IPA, certainly one of the more substantial and better session versions out there. Surprised by the low ratings here. Perhaps they improved the recipe, or this is the rare IPA that actually improves with age!

Pours a nice clean/slightly murky golden yellow color, nice carbonation, nice one-finger foamy white head, with some sticky lacing left behind. The nose is slightly hoppy, malty, with some citrus, some pines. The taste is hoppy, with some malt notes, very slight citrus note, there is some pineyness. Medium body, with a slightly dry/bitter finish. Drinkable, this is a hard style to pull off at anything less than 6% ABV, at least to me.

Clear amber colored beer with a small white colored head.
Smells hoppy mainly pine scent. Not much malt to speak off.
Starts out dry and mildly bitter. That is about it.
Mouthfeel is watery.
Overall this is OK. This seems to be a special beer made for just Utah to get around the 4% ABV law.
