Went on my monthly trip to RRBC last week and it turned into a 2 day brewery crawl on the 130 mile trek home. Black Diamond was one of the last stops on my trek, got there about 7 (as they were closing) they welcomed us with open arms and were happy to serve us for as long as we wanted. All the beer that I tried at Black Diamond was top notch but especially liked the Frampage DIPA and the stout. As good as the beer is the atmosphere and staff and patronage is even better! once you are here for 15 min you almost forget that you are in a strip mall in a totally industrial area, which along with no food is the only draw back to this place but honestly I didn't care. there is a couple of small flat screens which is the way it should be, if you want to get into a game, cheer and be a fan go to BWW, if you want good beer with good people and chill this is the place. Oh ya another big plus they fill growlers, and don't force you to commit to buying their growler. of the 5 breweries I visited from east of Santa Rosa to Antioch this was by far the best. I am making this a regular stop on my monthly trip to santa rosa. Thanks BDBC and keep up the good work!

This brewery has moved from their downtown Walnut Creek restaurant location to a production-only facility out in Concord. No food is served and all they have for the public is a small, elegant taproom for their beers. They have great happy hours and beer is cheap bought from the brewery itself (a rare thing, at least out here in California). Their beers have been getting better and better over the years, if you wrote them off years ago chances are you'll be impressed by their new stuff. The benefit of them being a production brewery? You can find just about all their beers at many area stores, plus some special bombers at more beer-friendly places.
It's located in the middle of nowhere which is heightened by the fact they reside in an ugly business park near the oil refineries. But like I said before, the taproom is pretty awesome and seems so out of place in that ugly building.
Seems all the reviews are dated pretty old and are regarding their old location, hence me typing this up.

This brewpub is the closest to my place of residence and I have only been there once. I guess that tells you something. The positives are they have cask ale and the beer quality overall seems good. Negatives are due to being in yuppified Walnut Creek the prices are very high. Can be a nice place if you want to pay the price. Might eventually get back in there.
