On tap fresh at the source. This was explained to me as a Nelson forward IPA with Amarillo and a few other hop varieties which escapes my mind at the moment. Apparently the brewer's wife owns or runs a vineyard, and her freshly picked white grapes were added.
WOW! What a beer. The white grapes are mild and to my surprise really really worked with this beer, especially lending a bit of extra complexity to, and well complimenting the Nelson hops.
Clean, clean and crisp mouthfeel and not as much bitter, but an awesome juicy and creamy, yet drying finish. Before I knew it, this beer was gone, leaving me wanting another ASAP. One of the best Nelson forward IPAs I've had. Get this one while you can. It's that good.
