A thick brownish head. This beer looks like coffee. Smell is weak, no aromas. The taste reveals strong notes of coffee, maybe hints of cherry. I had an impression of an alcohol kick, that got confirmed by the waiter; 8%. Probably the only interesting thing about this beer is that it's 8%. The mouthfeel is creamy but watery. Ok.

This beer's name recalls one of the nearby mountains of the mountain range the brewery names itself after.
Light brown color body, and a long-lasting froth. Looked like weak coffee. Nose held light alcohol and sour coffee. The taste reminds ALOT of Kirin's Kuronama--a beer which I think is quite bad. Sweet coffee syrup taste and some rough bitterness at the end. Big alcohol feel. I thought my stomach would be destroyed drinking it.
Exciting to find a high alcohol beer in Japan--but this one hurt, and I was happy I only had a small sampler size.
