(Pronounced “grow-JEES-kee-eh”) Named after the city of Grodzisk and known as the “Champagne of Poland”, this historical style became scarce after World War II. Pale with a gentle smoke character, this ale was fermented cool for a clean, crisp finish.

On tap American Flatbread. Lightly hazy with a nice head and lots of lacing. Smell is light smoke and wheat. Taste is pretty strong on the smoke. Meaty. Then the wheat kicks in. Bright wheat flavor. Crisp and light finish. Light body. Tough to pull off, but this works very well.

Slightly hazy, medium straw color. Very subtle smoky aroma, smoke come through in flavor more. Subtle tartness. Easy drinking, enjoyable session brew, I would drink again and could drink several in a session.
