On tap at DiveBar NYC.
Pours an amber brown color that is somewhat murky. A finger nail length frothy head retains well.
Malt forward aromas evoke sweetness and notes of biscuit, toast, caramel and toffee. Some bitterness can be perceived along with notes of earthy and woodsy hops.
Dry palate with crisp malt flavors. Notes of toasted and biscuity malts, brown bread crust, caramel, toffee, all produce a subtle sweetness. Well balanced with a gentle and clean bitterness, woodsy and earthy spices, lemon and grass. Despite the low ABV, it is medium bodied, somewhat mouth coating and smooth. The finish is dry.
Solidly crafted Bitter that is very sessionable and full of English flavors.
