Had this beer at the Burlington Hearth. Served on tap in a 12oz glass, cool.
A-lemon drop cloudy body. wisp of a white head.
S-sweet smell and a light herb scent.
T-yeasty, tannic and cough syrup.
M-light
D-I never got the sense it is what it says it is. Belgian-like...but not distinctive in any way.

Pours a mild golden color with a thin head into my glass. As always, presnetation is spot on.
Aroma is full of sweet, dry malt followed by only a sublte spiciness from the yeast.
Taste is of sweet, dry malt witlh apple and grape showing up towards the back. Very subtle at first.
Mouthfeel is full of lingering spice, apple and grape. Clean.
Sutprisngly drinkable, this saison is perhaps closer to the original saisons, which were lower in alcohol but certainly not in flavor. I like it.

Served in a tulip. Poured a cloudy orange-gold with a quarter inch off-white head that maintained a fairly consistent skim during the tasting. Sage dominates the nose with some citrus notes in the background. Taste was herbal and peppery with some light fruity esters in the mix. Mouthfeel fell between light- and medium-bodied; carbonation was consistent and little prickly but not in a bad way. Interesting brew, but a little too aromatic and overpowering.
