This pre-prohibition lager is a collaboration with our friends at Brewery Novalis in Syracuse, NY. This take on a historical lager style incorporates Czech hops as well as rice in the malt bill reflecting what lagers might have tasted like in the US at the turn of the century (1880's-1900). Malty, crisp and light on the pallet it is a true delight.

On tap at Zero Gravity in Burlington, VT.
This one pours a very clear, and very light yellow color, with a big fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like crisp doughy breadiness, toasted rice, lemon peel, and some very light grassy hop character.
This is exactly the sort of beer that I’m looking for when it comes to Zero Gravity. It’s super crisp, with no off flavors at all, with a crisp lightly sweet breadiness, doughy and crackery, with a lemony and grassy hop bitterness.
This is light bodied, slightly creamy, but super crisp and smooth.
I really enjoyed this one.
