Enjoyed on tap at Prohibition Pg, expanding teir taps promoting local. Gingery, so so. Yellow body, lacey, yeasty. Average mouthfeel. American saison, a step back for a Vermont beer. Some toasty malt, somewhat too much yeast and Belgian. Doesn't all hang together.

Tap at prohibition pig.
Big fluffy head, slight hazy milky pale golden pils color.
Nose typical saison, slight earthy rustic farmhouse yeast aromas, light floral spices and citrus, hint of a creamy malt, lemony, dry bready malts.
Taste starts with more rustic farmhouse yeast flavors, hint if floral spices, done fruity esters that come on a bit too much, just a hint of bready malts but seems a bit thin, hint lemony citrus, some light floral grassy bittering hops. Finish is dry, semi bitter, light earthy farmhouse finish lingering.
Mouth is med to lighter bodied, good carb.
Overall not bad, interesting malts but thin and a bit lackluster like it's missing some malt, and anything that really gives it character.
