Wow, I expected a little bit more from this beer. It was bitter, but not from the hops. It tasted like burnt charcoal smells. I was hoping to find a good local brewery other than Firestone and CCB, but to no avail. I have heard the Pozo Pale is decent enough, and I know some people who say that they like the Kroeker, but I just didn't enjoy it much. It is cool that a small town off the 101 in sweltering Atascadero has a brewery, and I will go pick up some Pozo, but I just can't recommend the Red Kroeker.
