750ml bottle poured into a tulip glass. No apparent bottling date
Pours a darker golden color with a light white head that quickly dissipates. The smell is mildly sweet. Im detecting some hints of pear and other fruits, but it is quite mild. Taste is yeasty and sweet, but not overpoweringly so. This is definitely done in the Belgian style. Very low hop presence and thus no bitterness on this one. Easy to drink. Low carbonation and medium body, a bit heavier than most other saisons.
Overall a solid offering from Natty Greene's that I'm glad to have tried. Probably won't purchase again, but I wouldn't turn it down if it was offered to me either.
