Raspberry Beret has a light blush colored body, and it is very hazy. The head is very thin and doesn't last very long.
The aroma has a good bit of raspberry with a lot of grain behind it.
Up front there is a good punch of raspberry that is mostly sweet instead of tart. The finish is very grainy tasting, with notes of cereal to go along with it. The malt and fruit are pretty equally balanced.
Fairly substantial body with a solid carbonation level.
Not a bad beer at all; it isn't as good as a few of the other Fruit Bowl beers that I have tried at North Country, but it was worth a shot.
