Poured from bomber a clear, golden color with a bubbly white head on the thinner side. Aroma is of dry biscuits, toasted grains, hay, grassy and slight herbal hops. Taste is mellow biscuits and a touch of caramel. Straw and fresh herbal hops. Light to medium body and a dry, semi-sweet kind of aftertaste. Refreshing Kolsch overall and a good size to share with a friend.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains grain, light caramelized malts and some hops.
T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of lager grain and a hearty but not too heavy malt character. Then some malt sweetness comes in. The hops presence is decent for the style and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready.
M: Crisp and smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer to pound down for a long time if you’re in the mood for the style.

A nice dimple kolsch and a lovely summer beer, affordable bomber set up for a charity that I can't remember, but the beer is great. It's bright, even in a bright style, and has a really awesome lemongrass flavor and a yeast strain that's not flavorless due to what seems like warmer fermentation. Blonde in color and holding a full inch of pure white head, drifts like a snow bank are higher around the edges than in the center. Smells and tastes like kemongrassy hops, more heavy there than other examples of the style. Super dry and well carbonated though, almost tastes and feels like a lager on the back end. Fluffy body is nice and it's a great food beer with oily foods, fried foods, spicy foods, I'd even sweeter things, very versatile there as a palate cleanser. A little fuller bodied than others, but bit enough to slow drink ability even a little. Harpoon has impressed me lately, hoping to get my lips on plenty more of their stuff this week while I am in the northeast! Surprised more folks haven't had this one, I hope that doesn't mean their charity mission was unsuccessful!

Golden colored liquid and clear. Decent head that leaves spots on the glass.
Very earthy aroma. A bit of beef stew. Not like a typical Kölsch.
Creamy body and taste. A bit sour with a very light hop touch. The earthiness stills comes through. Richer than most Kölsch beers. Regular carbonation. The aftertaste is mildly sweet and short lived.
