I love nitro pours. This is a beautiful looking beer. Cascading upward bubbles, slowly settling head. Thick blanket of lace with a thicker band after each sip. Clear dark gold color.
Biting hop nose. Lots of dried, grapefruit rind aroma. A bit harsh.
The nitro "carbonation" helps to take the bitter element while also giving a thick, creamy mouthfeel. The bitterness is strong in the swallow with a lot of pine showing up. Moderate aftertaste.
