Tasted on 4/9/16 at Lower Depths in Boston. As stated on their menu: Braggot 100 Barrel Series IPA aged in Whiskey barrels. Sweet and bitter.
Starts muddy brown. So Cloudy that light cannot pass. The head looks dirty but it leaves a good ring of lace.
Smells sugary, like vodka soaked raisins.
Sweet start but not overly sugary. The hop is solid which makes It different from #53 in the series. This version is far easier to drink because it is well balanced. This is far closer to the IPA than the braggot, unlike the very sweet version I had before.
