Cloudy, darkened gold color. Modest head but it leaves a lumpy initial ring of lace. Streaks thereafter.
Grainy with a bit of berry to the nose. A touch of sourness later in the tasting.
Sweet taste with a hoppy finish. Nice combo. The body is thicker than expected and the carbonation is also higher than expected. Smooth feel and taste. The aftertaste lingers in a mellow way. Overall, I find this to be very drinkable. I think the oak ads to the buttery feel, while the flavor remains interesting throughout.
