Golden amber color and clear. Lasting small head. Nearly no lace.
Strong freshly stoked fire smoky smell -- very much like a Rauschbier.
The malt starts first but it's quickly overtaken by the smoke. I don't get the "Saison" flavors at all but it might be because of the strong smoke. Good body, lower carbonation. Short aftertaste considering the flavor.
