Golden color and clear. Small head which settles to rim bubbles. Nice, multiple streaks from the initial ring.
Floral smell with notes of heather. Nice pale malt base. While subtle, it's still attractive.
The flavor is classic old style American IPA with pale malt playing as an equal partner to the hop. The hop meanwhile is more of a spice than a main ingredient. This could be a simple APA except for the abv. Moderate body and carbonation. A refreshing offering. Some might see this as a dig, but I favorably compare it to a Sam Adams Lager.
