Clear and light brown color. Small head which slowly settles to rim bubbles. It leaves a few miniscule spots on the glass.
I very a strong wet paper smell. A bit distracting. Light sweetness with apple overtones.
Sweet with a freshly cut (green) wood flavor. The body has a "chew" to it but I wouldn't desired if as rich. Perhaps it's the lower carbonation. The hop really only shows up in the swallow but doesn't linger into the aftertaste.
