Pours a very cloudy, hazy orange color with a frothy head that dissipates quickly, carbonation is fine if u can see through the haze. Smell is definately orangey. Taste is more mellow than expected, only slight spice and orange. Mouthfeel is thinner than expected also. Overall a decent brew but not one I'd search out

12 oz. Bottle pkg 12/10/18 opened on 3/6/19

Pours out a very active and bubbly golden/orange color. High fluffy and bubbly white foam recedes and dissapears quickly, lays out flat.

A sweet 'n sour citrus aroma hits first, with corriander and peppery Belgian style herbal tones after that. Sweet malt and funky spices keep its within style range, and certainly more spices.

A rather heady blend of spices is impressive right off the bat, (dominated by corriander) but soon the sweet and sour orange citrus bite happens within a snappy and crispy malt that surprisingly turns a bit slick and cloying in the long run.
Citrus kick mixed with white pepper, corriander, slick malt and a funky, sour and earthy Belgian "ish" style yeast profile sums up the flavor and feel pretty well.

At 6.8 %abv. This really is a "big wit" both with its extra hefty malt feel and dense effects of spices. It certainly has its charms: the spices, the crisp bite at first and the citrus tones. The negatives being a strangely ling and slick malty feel in the finish and rather flattened out appearance. Overall, I suppose its worth a try if you enjoy the UFO line of styles.

Bottle Hazy orange with loose fizzy head. Citrus and wicked pepper aroma with some coriander. Very sweet orange with harsh peppery long finish. medium body pale ale-type carbonation. Terrible. I was looking for a reliable new wit. This ain't it.

New favorite. Very distinct orange notes. Spices linger. Very drinkable. You really don't notice the 6.8% ABV at all. It's an extreme version of UFO White which was my previous favorite.

What Blue moon used to taste like! I remember the first time I had blue moon, many moons ago... (sorry) and it was my go to beer. Then when it fell flat, Hogaarden was the replacement but not quite there. This now easily takes the number one spot. Great orange aroma and taste, without it feeling artificial. That's what you get from unfiltered beer. Bright and cloudy with a velvety bright texture. I can't rate it as high as some others due to its lower complexity. But overall definitely near the top of my list for back to back drinkability. And I'm drinking this on a 30 degree (Farenheit) day. Cant wait to drink this one on a balmy summer day. Cheers!
