A German hefeweizen with beet juice for the pinkish color. Lasting head which leaves thicker streaks. Cloudy with a blood orange color.
Mild, nurtured smell of semisweet sourness.
I taste neither wheat nor beet. Instead I get a rather dry bitterness with a touch of sour. Thinner body like a hefe, good carbonation. The finish gains sourness. Short aftertaste. Overall, it's funky and worth trying...once.
