Mass. Bay Brewing Co. "UFO Boarding Pass IPA"
12 fl. oz. can
Notes: Brewed with raspberry, strawberry, natural flavor, and Azacca, Amarillo, and Sultana hops.
Look: Hazy golden-peach in color beneath a short head of slightly yellowed off-white foam.
Smell: The aroma is limited for an IPA but it displays some orange atop other mixed tropical fruits.
Taste: The flavor is fuller and displays notes of apricot, raspberry, orange, pineapple, peach, and passionfruit. I'm not finding any strawberry. A moderate to median bitterness balances it and it finishes mainly dry with varying notes of fruitiness lingering.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently crisp.
Overall: Although the aroma is limited the fruit comes out in the flavor and it's quite pleasant and refreshing. At just 5.3% you could drink a few of these.

My first offering from a UFO variety pack. It poured hazy gold with a thin white head that dissipated in less time than it took for me to type this sentence. The first thing I get on the nose is a waft of orange. The orange is accompanied by bready notes and a hint of pineapple. This beer is the least bitter IPA I have ever tried. I'm not complaining, it's actually very pleasant. All I get is light, juicy citrus atop wheat. Combined with a smooth mouthfeel and light carbonation, it makes for an easy-drinker. The lack of bitterness makes it unlike a typical IPA, but it's still a good beer.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It smelled of orange, pine notes and sweet caramel. Nice bitterness with pine and orange zest. Sweet caramel/toffee backbone. Smooth finish and medium bodied.

A: hazy; deep gold in color; 1 finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a wispy cap; light lacing;
S: very little aroma;
T: strawberry with a little artificial raspberry; a weird slight tartness in the background; no bitterness;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: not a great flavor and the tartness didn't fit;

Orange and good color with a dense fog of haze, big carbonation and a thin white dome, levels out fast and scattered. All foam completely disappeared within a few moments of the pour.
The nose is a bit subtle, but has some lightly tropical fruitiness from the hops, apricot, pineapple juice and light orange citrus notes mostly. A very light but sweet maltiness way down deep is detected as well. My first impression of the aromatics was: "smells like Magic Hat #9."
Mouthfeel is very light, certainly juicy, never dry or harsh, just light and juicy.
Flavor is mostly made up of lightly tropical juicy from the hop, but is certainly one of the lightest IPA flavors I've experienced. The malt has some very light golden grainy tones and slightly slick malty sweet finish.
This stuff would be an excellent companion on long hikes and outdoor adventures, poolside parties or easy drinking situations. Low complexity, high drinkability.

From a 16 oz can dated 01/27/20. Sampled Feb. 27, 2020.
The appearance is a cloudy looking amber-orange with a modest head. Not sure if this is due to the usual UFO unfiltered look or if the hops are coming into play. Or both.
Pleasant aroma of orange juice, clove and other herbal notes, lemonzest, and toasted wheat.
Smooth but light to medium mouthfeel.
Sweet, biscuit, fruity, and herbal qualities define the taste. Clean finish. I think it was quite good.
