Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a black color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is full of citrus, a touch of malts. Taste is a bit unusual. Smoked meats, roasted malts, light citrus. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer, but not a traditional APA.

A: Pours a near pitch black color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Roasted malt, citrus, caramel, dark chocolate, and light earthiness
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of roasted malt, citrus, and caramel. Picks up the dark chocolate and some chia along with very light salinity. Finishes with lingering caramel, dark chocolate, and roast
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A very good black session IPA with loads of flavor for 4%. Definitely worth checking out

It's an interesting line between hoppy and malty that I want to like, but the feel and the after taste take it down a notch. Still worth a try, but not something I'm gonna petetion to get it's own 15 pack like Rec League.
