Appearance: Hazy yellow-brown body, with a modest, but persistent white head. Thick, somewhat coarse and patchy lacing adorns the glass walls. The carbonation is slight and slow-rising.
Aroma: To my surprise, there is a very strong aroma of a jelly doughnut, complete with sugar glaze, infused with fresh hops. Simply amazing.
Taste: The taste begins with sugary jelly doughnut, infused with moderate hops. Raspberry jelly vies with fresh doughnuts and moderate herbal and grassy hops, as if someone topped a fresh jelly doughnut with fresh hops. As the taste progresses, the hops dominate. Finishes with a lingering note of sugar-glazed jelly doughnuts and herbal hops.
Mouth feel: Full and pleasant. soft on the palate.
Drinkability/notes: Simply amazing, While Dunkin' Jelly Donut IPA is, to be sure, off trail, what a spectacular exhibition of brewing artistry. Well worth the price of admission. I must say that it verges upon a dessert beer, bizarre as that might seem. Put this on your list of bucket beers.
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a South American-style Pilsener glass.

Compelled to write a review. The tame ticker that I am, I "try" to stay away from these in vouge concoctions that brewers come up with. But this one was weirdly good. Some peeps are bashing it but wtf, it is a jelly donut beer. What did you expect??
Poured from a can into a pint glass.
Dark straw color that is hazy, the smell is like a jelly donut with some faint hops.
The taste is light hop up front, the middle to end is a faint taste of the jelly filling, not sweet but just there, with again a faint bitterness.
Mouth feel was some what coating, not sure if my brain was playing games with me because of the donut name.
Overall pretty impressed with this little gem. I will not be seeking out these types of brews but if offered this one again, I would gladly drink it.

Pours pale yellow. Mild hop aroma. This is one of the weirdest tasting beers I have ever had. It tastes like jelly donuts and a bad IPA mixed in a blender. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Canned 10/19/20. Pours a mild amber/gold hue with a decent head. Strong note of raspberry upfront with only a touch of hop presence. Cloying raspberry upfront leads to not much else in the mouthfeel. "Tinny" finish toward the back of the throat. It could have been done better. I just don't think raspberry and IPAs go together very well.

I truly enjoyed this...
It wasn't the dessert beer I thought it would be, but it was still decent enough. The look was the most appealing aspect, followed by the smell. Though it did pour our like a raspberry soda, and smelled like one at first, once that initial impression wore off it was a decent blend of the sweet undertones and bitterness of the hops. The feel was crisp but light and the taste was sweet and tart - really a unique beer if not overly special.

Pours a deep hazy golden so opaque you can only see the fairly active carbonation at the top. Good head retention reduces to good lacing. Smells of sugar cookies, cotton candy and candied tropical fruit. Surprisingly juicy mouth feel. NEIPA like. Cotton candy and sugar cookies on the front palette. Some fried dough mid-palate. Confusing mango and Sunny Delight notes. Underlying lemon sour candy and gauva fruit. Back palette is raspberry jam, European marzipan candy, and yes... Jelly doughnut. After taste there's this off put bitter note. It's the Hops but it comes off like salted taffy and Airheads candy. Then sooooo much sugar you think you sipped sugar powder and then licked the doughnut box. I am not sure I like that part. Lingering sugar and lemon. Marzipan. Confusion ensues. Not horrible but yes... Decisive.
