Canned 2/22/21. Eye catching label and the fact that it's a pils were factors in my decision to purchase a 4 pack. Pours a light golden hue with a thin head into my glass. Crisp with a balanced hop to malt factor. There's sweetness, it has some "doughiness" but the finish is just perfect. Bruins fans especially will enjoy this beer.

From the brewer:
A crisp and crushable pilsner brewed with black honey, goldpils malt, some subtle hops, and a touch of flaked corn. Coyle and Wags may be teammates on the ice, but they’re foes in the brewhouse. The two MA natives dropped the gloves for the honor of choosing this year’s recipe. It was a close bout, but Coyle came out on top, so this year’s Don’t Poke the Bears recipe is the creation of his choice.
My review :
Light gold color and crystal clear. Smallish head but it lasts and leaves long thick streaks on the glass.
Extremely mild aroma of pale malted barley and nearly imperceptible hop.
Highly carbonated with a very thin body, this beer reminds me of an extremely light version of a Bavarian Helles. The malt flavor is lighter than the color suggests. There is a better hop presence but the best remains a malty pilsner offering. Short nondescript aftertaste.
