We’d never change Harpoon IPA— it’s New England’s Original IPA after all— but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun with it. Introducing Harpoon IPA: Summer Haze Edition. We took our iconic IPA recipe and made some tweaks— softening things out with the grain bill, adding some extra citrusy hops, and skipping filtration so it’s nice and hazy. What we got is an IPA that has the familiarity of our flagship but with a refreshing summery twist. Only available for a limited time!
Tasting Notes:
Appearance: Hazy orange
Aroma: Fresh grapefruit zest, white tea, beach rose
Mouthfeel: Medium-to-light bodied and soft
Taste: Grapefruit pith, blood orange, wheat cracker, pink peppercorn
Finish: Balanced and refreshing with a faint touch of bitterness
Beer Details:
Grain Bill: Pale Malt, Wheat Malt, Oat Malt, Victory, Caramel
Hops: Chinook, Simcoe, Cascade, Mandarina Bavaria, Centennial
IBU: 42

at Nancy's in MVI, and billed as Nancy's Summer HPA. Pleasantly surprised, lite flavorful NEIPA, much better than the original Summer Ale. Good golden color, juicy, fruity and drinkable. It's a Harpoon so don't expect craft quality but still pretty darn good NEIPA.
