Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed deep copper-amber color with a one finger height head of thick white foam. The head fades slowly, leaving a tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is big of a bready malt flavor mixed with the presence of some caramel and a bit of apple and pear. Along with these aromas, also is a bit of toast and a moderate showing of pine and herbal hops.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice clean bready flavor mixed with aa mix of pine and herbal hop. There is a little bit of caramel and some pear and plum, but it is light, and fades even more as the taste advances on the tongue. All the while notes of caramel join in, along with a touch of apple, with the hop getting a bit more resinous and aggressive. With a note of grass and hay joining in at the end, one is left with a nice, moderately malty, and resinous taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is a bit chewy and heavy with a lighter and finer carbonation level.
Overall – A nice more old school style imperial IPA. Good stuff!

Can purchased and drank at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a dark orange-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like orange peel, grapefruit, marijuana, pineapple, and melon.
This will scratch the itch if you’re looking for a very old school Vermont-style IPA – juicy, but also significantly malty, with caramelly sweetness. There’s piney and herbal sweetness, a little bit dank, with melon, grapefruit, bitter orange, and a little bit of pineapple fruit cup.
This is medium bodied, with a pleasant bitterness on the finish, with a little bit of sweet honey-like sweetness on the finish.
This won’t be entirely for the haze heads of the modern era, but I really enjoyed this one.

19.2 FL. OZ. can
Served in a can glass
This beer pours an amber hue with a slight chill haze and a couple inches of beige head that leaves nice lacing as it recedes.
Malty and resiny with a little grapefruit
Mellow citrus flavor upfront with a bitter, piny finish. I also get some malt in the finish/aftertaste.
Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel
Decent gas station IPA.

Crystal clear light amber color. The moderate sized head dies off quickly but provides ample spotting on the glass.
Mild aroma of mostly caramelized malt with a lighter floral hop bouquet.
Clean pale malt start. The body is neutral but the carbonation comes across a bit spritzy to me. The hop is straight-up bitter culminating at the swallow. Overall, this is a rather one-dimenshional tasting beer. There's nothing wrong with it per se, but it just doesn't provide any complexity.

Grab a single of this but its pretty damn old. Regardless this is a straight up dogfish head 90 minute imposter. Tastes identical.

Smooth, malty imperial that mixes grapefruit, other nondescript fruitiness (tangerine?) and some resinous, medicinal notes. A little like a mix between an oldschool NEIPA (i.e. its malty, slightly dank flavor) and a newldschool one (i.e. the incredible juiciness). Great silky, refreshing mouthfeel with low carbonation.

Drinking out of a Treehouse snifter.
Pours a clear amber with a foamy head.
Smells some of pine, some of tropical fruit.
Nice full mouth feel.
Resinous piney taste. Not too bitter.
