Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather fast, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a grainy malt smell mixed with notes of corn and caramel. Along with these comes a strong smell of guava, passionfruit, and grape must and some notes of toffee and hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a grainy and bready flavor mixed with notes of caramel and some of the guava, passionfruit, and white grape that was in the nose. As the taste advances some light notes of toffee replace some of the gape and caramel, all while notes of hay and corn come to the tongue, leaving one with a moderately malty (for a 3.3% abv. brew), but easy natured taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is light and crisp with a more moderate carbonation level.
Overall – Somewhat oddly flavored, but overall, still easy natured in drinking style and feel. Would probably rather have a light brew, but overall, may be good for some.
