Served specially at The Lower Depths in Kenmore Square, Boston.
Good initial head but it dies quickly. No lace. The liquid is an appropriately cloudy amber.
Sweet and flowery. Not at all what I expected. Very attractive with a mild alcohol touch.
Don't expect chilies or even any heat, but this is still quite delicious with many (floral) subtleties of flowers and alcohol. Good body with a light carbonation one would expect from a cask. I'm noticing some warmth in my belly, but that might be from the chili dog I ate earlier.
This a good enough beer to seek out if only for how unique (flavor wise) and rare (I know of no other place to offer this).
