This was far and away the best beer I had during my visit to the Weizen Bock brewpub, and I thought it far better than its reviews here. I thought this beer had an interesting look, and a ton of unique flavors.
This beer appeared foamy and opaque with bubbles, much like a well-poured Guinness. Color was a bit orangy-brown, like clay-muddy water. The beer had a ton of head that towered over the rim of the glass that contained it. Aroma was of some spiciness (clove?) and mintiness. Intrigued, I took a sip, and I got hints of mint, clove, coriander, and other spices backed by a significant malt presence. Mouthfeel was substantial, and felt right.
I thought this beer was delicious; Id recommend it highly.
I had this on-tap at the Wynkoop brewpub.

Poured a murky orange/brown with a 1" offwhite head. Good head retention & above average lacing
S: Bubble gum & a little alcohol
T: Bubblegum & alcohol up front. Fruiityness & pepper bring up the middle. Finishes sweet & juicy
MF: Medium bodied & sprtizy
Drank pretty good, just didn't have enough complexity to pull it together, still true to the style. Alcohol burn detracted a bit form the drinkability to be sure

This beer looks rougher than a year in a Mexican Prison. Fortunately, appearance isn't everything wwith thise beer...
Big bannana, fruit, bubblegum aroma. Very nice, enticing aroma. smells great, but looks a mess: Odd looking is the best that can be said for it. It looks like a caramel dulce de leche heavy on the milk and caramel syrup. It is completely opaque to the point of ridiculousness. Sports a thumb thick creamy tan head. Yeast and sugar notes in the fore are followed by HUGE bubblegum notes, mild bannana, spice, nilla wafer-like flavors and a dash of cloves. It has a very thick and creamy mouthfeel and is fun to drink despite the silliness of its appearance. I guess it's a lot like a really fun ugly chick...maybe she don't look so hot, but if you get to know her you might really enjoy the experience.

(EDIT: This is a re-review of this beer because I personally feel it's world's better than last years, which I gave a 3.35)
For all practical purposes, this is a Weizenbock on par with the best you'll find anywhere. The 2005 edition had an alcohol burn that really hurt the beer's flavor and drinkability, but the '06 has essentially fixed that complaint. If anything, this brew has amped up the flavor and taken the alcohol burn away.
Definitely my go-to brew from the Wynkoop for the colder months.
