Bottle conditioned. Pours a light amber with a narrow, dense head. Rising bubbles.
Muted aroma of caramel and toffee malt. Some summer floral notes present.
The taste reflects the smell. Very well balanced.
Medium carbonation and more than is normal for conditioned ale. Light to moderate body.
As traditional as they come.

Quite pale amber colour. Very effervescent on pouring, but the head disperses rapidly. Aroma is muted. The carbonation is still very apparent when you drink which I found detracted a little from the experience. This is a fairly lightweight product with no strong characteristics either way: moderate fruity maltiness and slight citrus hop component. It's decent if not outstanding.
