A bit of a shame to review this after having enjoyed it in a pint with fresh blueberries so many times previously, but those occasions never lend themselves to reviews, so here we are
A - a clear light golden of bubbles rising from the depths, solid white head held famously
S - big blueberry aroma, but it is quicly tempered by grains and some mild florals
T - big wheat grainy flavours quiclkly followed by blueberries that bring sweet and tart flavours .... take it or leave it, and i'll take it all day
M - light with big carbonation, dry and tart to finish
O - a small audience can appreciate this unfortunately, the best i can say is don't be so snobby that you shun fruit beers because there are gems all around (get this on tap if you can, even better!)

500ml bottle poured into tulip 9/12/11

A clear golden yellow with lots of tiny particles being moved around by a stream of bubbles that feed a large three finger off white head that slowly falls leaving no lace

S blueberry and floral honey and some dry cereal its simple but I rather enjoy the smell

T a little more floral and the blueberries not as strong but still pretty nice, a little sweet grainy flavor is doing OK for it too

M nice and light with bubbles making it fluff up, berries linger on the finish

O pretty solid fruit beer that would be better suited for a summer day but I'll take it today I'll take it

I've never needed a beer more then I do right now, I'll spare the details but Carona may have scored well right now, perhaps a re-rate is in the future?

20oz Truepour pint at the Edmonton Oliver Square location. Not a big fan of blueberries, but my girlfriend's order looked weirdly appealing, so, why not complete my night of fruit beer goodness, I say.

This beer appears a hazy medium golden amber hue, with one stout finger of foamy, bubbly, and maybe even a wee bit creamy off-white head, which leaves a mountainous wall of painted lace around the glass as it slowly ebbs away. There are indeed a few blueberries floating at the top of the glass, and another half-dozen or so sunk to the bottom, although some sort of pleasant convection seems to keep them on the move. I plucked them out straight away, of course.

It smells of musty, though still fairly sweet blueberries, clover leaf honey, and soft pale grainy cereal malt - pleasant enough for this neophyte. The taste is still replete with juicy, mildly tangy blueberries, a hint of its sister berries (strawberry and blackberry), softly lilting wheat grain, a touch of sweeter caramel malt, and a fleeting whisper of earthy, floral hops.

The carbonation is light and fluffy, the body on the wan side of medium weight, and a bit pithy from the fruit in its smoothness. It finishes well off-dry, the grainy wheat and titular fruitiness hanging tough through to the end.

A fairly agreeable late-summer patio quaff, not my favorite of Brewsters' fruit wheat ales, but quite serviceable, especially if you like the blueberries. It will be snowing soon, so bring on the Blue Monk. Wait, there's Oktoberfest first, right?

I had this a few years back as a summer seasonal, but now has made it into the regular Brewster's lineup.
Served in a nonic type glass with a handful of real blueberries floating on top. Yellow / light gold color, no real foam or head to speak of. Nice blueberry aroma to go with the slight wheat smell. There is a full blueberry flavor, but without being too sweet or syrupy. The mouthfeel average, but as expected for a light fruit beer. Crisp finish with no sticky aftertaste that I have found in some fruit beers.
A well balanced fruit beer.

Light pale gold colour in appearance, slight lacing, thin white head. Served with small frozen blueberries suspended in the glass. Crisp grain and sweet blueberries on the nose. Detergent smell from the glass somewhat detracted from the overall experience. The flavour was fairly one-dimensional, mild tartness from the wheat, subtle berry flavour from the fruit, but not overwhelming with the blueberries. The mouthfeel is decent for the style, medium body, crisp finish that rounds out through the aftertaste. Would make an okay selection for a hot summer day on the patio.
