This is the Chophouse's ESB, drank as part of their sampler. A nice solid amber body, with a thinning head. It was placed last on the 'line' on the sampler tray, I would have put it next to the Pale Ale. Oh well.
Smell of hops, malt and caramel. Taste was a 'dumbed down' pale ale, that is, not as much citrus yet kicked a good deal in the bite. A nice balance of sweetness and dryness, finished clean.
