A great session ale for anyone who loves hops and sour. Funky sourness and big aromatic floral hop nuances make this a super flavorful session ale. A great gateway brew for those getting into Sours IMO.

Session sour ipa. On tap, poured into a tumbler. The aroma is bright, dense, oaky and musty with a blend of floral, grass, and grape notes that come together in a bit of a oak forward white wine / cheap champagne and a slight solvent / cleanser hint. It’s a slightly hazy, straw colored beer but has a sparkling hint and is topped by a soft white foam that has a mild retention and a light lace. The taste is a medium / medium high bitter with a medium light sweetness, and a blunt, medium sour. The texture is slick but thin with an active carbonation and a light body containing notes of sour grapes (white wine), bread, oak, underripe stone fruit, and citrus zest with a finish that’s crisp and dries up leaving an aftertaste of floral, tart champagne and herbal, bread. Overall fresh and clean.
