im stoked this exists, and it tastes really good, but i am not sure if it actually has pumpkin in it or not. if so, its the first of the year for me, if not, i dont miss it, its not squashy or anything at all, and not nearly as spice forward or earthy as the original la parcela, which i think is very autumnal. this is less so, with more of a dark malt profile, almost a dry porter type base, but still fully wild, mature bretty, oaky, and very much bringing the classic jolly pumpkin funk. their wld culture is as identifiable as other notable breweries that cant be mistaken like crooked stave, almanac, or allagash, its just all theirs, and its really good. light on the mouthfeel, but still with plenty of roast and bitterness, if there is real pumpkin in here, its at this moment, where the malt is at its most forward. maybe i get some clove and vanilla, but this beer isnt sweet, not sour either, and not as intense or as fall-esque as the normal one. light bodied for what it is, but i also really dig the depth the darker grain adds. its dry, but seems somewhat less developed on the yeast side. as far as i know, there is nothing like this. did they bottle it? i hope so...
