Hazzy appricot color with nice full creamy white head. Good smell with citrus malt and pine notes but a little subtle. Taste is more malt but well balanced. Not as strong an ipa flavor as the 63 ibu would have you expecting. But still tasty. Medium mouth feel. Overall good, but not stellar.

Is this an IPA? I like it and all, but just tastes like a decent lager or wheat beer to my unsophisticated tongue.... I like it but I'm confused...not that unusual in my advanced aged

Looks nice, deep golden orange, opaque but looks like a west coast IPA. Smells like a Belgian pale ale, yeasty, peppery, piney, sweet, syrupy. Tasty, easy drinking, though a bit sweet/yeasty for my taste. Enjoying the Jolly Pumpkin non-sour IPA releases.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/16/2019. Pours fairly hazy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.2%. Overall this is an incredible IPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel, and not aggressive. Fantastic Chinook, Cascade, Falconers Flight, Vanguard, Simcoe profile. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice clean oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example.
