From the Brewer's Fork menu: Lightly soured rye tripel [sic] aged in Chardonnay barrels. Notes of pear and honey are balanced by medium acidity and a hint of oak.
Minor head but it leaves streaks for lace. Pale brown color with more than a subtle tint of ruby.
Sugary sweet aroma with a hint of acidic sourness. Tart like raspberries.
Reminiscent of a Belgian Lambic, this beer has some berry fruitiness with a tart finish. Not much yeast bite but the finish does have some bitterness. Lowly carbonated but with a lighter body as well.
